Clear agreements about booking, payment, participation, changes and cancellation at Nature of Wonder.

These terms apply to bookings, physical products and memberships. Each offer also contains the arrangements that apply only to that offer. Those arrangements take precedence if they differ. The rules below about saved costs, a place that is filled again and your mandatory consumer rights always continue to apply.

Booking and payment

Before payment, the offer states what you are booking or ordering, the price, what is included and any additional costs. Consumer prices include VAT.

An agreement is formed when payment is received. If you pay in instalments, the first instalment counts as payment. A business agreement is formed when the client accepts the quotation in writing, unless the quotation states otherwise.

The participant or buyer enters their own details and accepts the terms. Someone else may make the payment. After payment, you receive a confirmation and the practical information for your booking or order by email.

Events

The offer states whether the statutory cooling-off period applies. It does not apply to a leisure activity on a fixed date.

If you cancel, the arrangement stated with the offer applies. If no separate arrangement is stated, we charge only a reasonable amount for work and costs that we can no longer save. If we fill your place or save costs, we deduct that from the cancellation amount. We never charge the same place twice and explain the calculation on request.

After consultation, you may transfer your place to someone who meets the participation conditions. We charge only actual additional costs.

If Nature of Wonder cancels an event, you receive at least a refund of the participation fee. If we make a material change and the alternative is not suitable, you may cancel without charge.

Memberships

A membership starts after the first payment. It runs monthly, has no minimum term and gives immediate access to the content and activities included in the selected level.

You may change or end your membership at any time. No new charges are made after cancellation. Outside the cooling-off period, access continues through the day before the next payment would have been due.

Use the membership cancellation page. If your request falls within the statutory fourteen-day cooling-off period, the same route also refunds your first payment in full.

If you also receive the free weekly letter, it continues until you unsubscribe from it. The letter is separate from the membership.

Physical products

For a physical product, the offer states the price, shipping costs, delivery period and delivery area before payment.

A consumer may usually withdraw within fourteen days after receiving the product. You then have fourteen days to return it. The offer states whether you pay the return costs. We refund the purchase price and standard delivery charge within fourteen days, but may wait until we receive the product or proof that it was sent.

A product must conform to the agreement. Your statutory rights for a defective product remain in full effect. To withdraw or report a problem, contact us via .

Participation and safety

Follow reasonable safety instructions, use the required equipment and tell the guides promptly if something may affect safe participation. If there is doubt before booking, we consider together whether the programme is suitable.

Nature of Wonder prepares and guides each programme with due care. Where needed, we discuss the risks and safety arrangements in advance and record them in a paper participant declaration. This does not limit our statutory duty of care or your statutory rights.

Materials and group privacy

Texts, recordings and other materials are for personal use unless agreed otherwise. Do not share identifiable stories, images or contact details of other participants without their permission.

Dutch law applies. A dispute may be submitted to the court that has jurisdiction under the law.
